TAKE A TOUR

Across
the departments, employees work as a team. Their smiles
are genuine. They care! They use listening skills to
get to know each resident so the service or support
they provide will be personalized. And staff communicate
with each other to ensure that residents' needs and

or with other specific activities, PAL
can be customized
to meet the special needs of each person. For a modest fee,
PAL staff assist with bed-making or other housekeeping chores,
medication management, shopping, laundry, reading...any reasonable
request will be honored that helps residents continue to live
independently.

Meet Barbara Eyring
Medical Insurance Coordinator
Do you know the difference between Medicare A and Medicare
B? Barbara Eyring does! In her capacity as Medical Insurance
Coordinator since 1986, Barbara provides a unique service
for the residents of Roland Park Place. Her role is to explain
medically related papers, from complicated invoices to the
wording on insurance cards.
But more importantly, Barbara's caring manner puts residents
at ease. Knowing they can trust someone to help them through
the complicated, sometimes frustrating maze of medical insurance
claims gives Roland Park Place residents extra peace of mind.
"Retirement living is more fun when you can free yourself
from the burdens of paperwork," Barbara comments. "I like
to think of what I do not just in terms of a technical skill,
but as improving the quality of life for our residents."
Meet Tina York
Director of Pastoral Care
You'll hardly ever find Tina York in her office! Her presence is felt throughout
the community, however, as she visits residents in their apartments
or rooms or in the hospital. She is available to residents,
family and staff members in times of crisis and transition,
and she coordinates all religious activities, services and
events. We feel very fortunate to have
her on our staff.
