Hours:
16 -20 hours per week
Float Pool staff must be able to work every other weekend
Responsibilities:
Provide quality and efficient food service to residents in elegant, formal "5-star" dining room setting. Set, serve and bus tables. Prepare beverages. Provide room service, as needed. Display friendly, courteous manner and enthusiasm as a team player.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be over 16 years of age. Must communicate well with elderly persons. Must possess the ability to read, to write legibly, and to speak clearly. Experience helpful, but not necessary. Training will be provided.

Position:
Health Care Center– Activities Assistant
Hours:
Part Time
Responsibilities:
Assist with the Health Care Center Activity Program and provide an environment to meet the psychosocial and psychophysical needs of residents by performing the following duties. Abides by the Residents' Bill of Rights in all resident interactions. Assists with setup and clean up of program areas; organizes program supplies and areas. Assists with directing volunteers who are assigned to an activity program. Transports/escorts resident to and from activity programs and documents attendance. Assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the residents' daily activity programs. Assists with day trips away from Roland Park Place and with planning and implementation of parties and special events. Serve as group leader, when assigned, with energy and enthusiasm. Works evenings and weekends as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) years in a geriatric setting (i.e., long term care facility, retirement community, or adult day care center) preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Flexible hours required, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Position:
CMA: Health Services
Hours:
Part Time Position 3pm - 11pm (24 hours per week)
Every other weekend rotation
Responsibilities:
Prepare, administer, chart and order oral, topical and suppositoral drugs. Performs blood pressure and pulse measurements. Administer PRN medicines, after getting approval from the Charge nurse. Encourages residents' participation in structured activities Transports residents to activities or appointments. Supervises residents during functions and reports any abnormal findings or changes in condition to the Charge Nurse. Prevents cross-contamination of residents by careful hand washing and use of standard precautions in all resident care activities; maintains resident environment, supplies and equipment; and maintains ancillary areas. Keeps medicine cart clean and orderly at all times. Completes special assignments, such as checking refrigerator temperatures, dates on nourishments, etc. as directed. Cleans up spills/wet areas; remove soil if necessary. Collects specimens as requested by the Charge Nurse. Will work CGNA assignment as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Graduate from a Certified Medicine Aide course approved by the Board of Nursing is required. Orientation class and bi-annual attendance at Office of Health Care Quality in-services training are required. Previous experience with geriatric care highly desirable. Must already be registered on the National GNA registry or registered to take the Board of Nursing examination with successful completion within 180 days. Minimum of 18 years of age. Strongly urge to receive Hepatitis B vaccine.

Resident Assistant - Residential Care (2 positions open)
Hours:
Part-Time 7:00am - 3:00pm (16 hours bi-weekly) every other weekend rotation.
Part-Time 3:00pm - 11:00pm (16 hours bi-weekly) every other weekend rotation.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) i.e. light housekeeping, meal preparation, etc.) Functions independently after receiving assignment and instructions from the RN Coordinator. Communicate concerns about residents to the RN Coordinator. Recognize and respond to the needs of residents. Adheres to the Residents' Bill of Rights; consistently works to uphold and protect residents overall well-being. Consistently displays professionalism. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
CGNA Certificate and State CGNA registration required. High School diploma or GED required. More than one (1) year in Long Term Care or Assisted Living setting preferred. Medication Management Certificate preferred. Minimum of 18 years of age.

Driver - Float Pool (includes evenings and weekends)
Hours:
Variable
Responsibilities:
Transport and assist residents to and from appointments and events. Inform supervisor of any maintenance problems. Maintain mileage, vehicle use, and fuel consumption records. Provide shuttle service to employees (to and from off-site parking area). Adheres to the Residents Bill of Rights and consistently works to uphold and protect residents' overall well-being. Consistently displays professionalism. Communicates concerns regarding specific residents to the Director of Resident Services. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to read and understand local and out-of-state maps, road signs, and verbal directions. Class "B" (Commercial) Driver's License Endorsement "P" preferred. Previous operation of a 31-passenger bus preferred. Must have a clean driving record. Minimum of 21 years of age. Flexible hours required.

Housekeeper I
Hours:
Monday - Friday and every 4th weekend 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Keep rooms and public area neat and clean. Vacuums floors, clean bathrooms, dust, washes windows, empties trash, and cleans stairways, elevators, and laundry rooms and utility rooms. Reports damages and missing items to Lead Housekeeper or Director of Facility Services.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Previous experience in housekeeping techniques helpful, but not required.
